About

Eric S. Deems leads the Nashville office where he advises landowners, homebuilders, developers, and investors on land and development opportunities throughout the region. He specializes in residential and mixed-use land, including single-family communities, townhomes, build-to-rent, multifamily, master-planned communities, and commercial development sites. His practice is centered on helping clients understand and maximize land value—from initial market analysis and development strategy through entitlements, positioning, negotiations, capitalization, and closing.

Eric is known for navigating complex transactions where real estate, infrastructure, capital, and local government intersect. His experience and relationships across the region allow him to connect landowners with local, regional, and national builders, developers, investors, and other capital sources while helping clients evaluate both the opportunities and risks associated with development.

Eric earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management and undergraduate degrees from Belmont University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky and is actively involved in several Nashville civic and community organizations.

The Nashville team serves Middle Tennessee and surrounding growth markets, with a particular focus on the greater Nashville region.
